Pathways to Healing
10-session small group program for men
and women

Each person has a tremendous capacity to heal. During this ten-session program
we will explore the connection between body, mind, and spirit and support each
group member in their healing process. During weekly two-hour classes we will
learn skills from mind/body medicine, practice meditation and support each other
in bringing new insights and practices into everyday life. Topics covered include
stress management, cultivating positive thought patterns, healthy lifestyle changes,
and spirituality in relation to health. This program complements regular medical
treatment and is suitable for those struggling with any health issue that is
caused or made worse by stress, as well as those looking to maintain health and
bring more vitality and balance to their life.

Next group begins October 19.
The demands of life tend to leave us no time for ourselves, and to take us out
of our natural rhythm. This six-session group will help each participant find
renewal, balance and healing. We will explore a wide range of relaxation, meditation
and stress reduction approaches, and support each other in making these skills
part of our everyday life.
Participants in past groups have reported many benefits including; decreased
anxiety, improved sleep, feeling more in control and healing of relationships.

Summer Evening Meditation
Tuesday evening 7:45 - 9:00 pm
This 6-session Summer program will provide training in a variety of approaches to meditation and relaxation. There will be support in bringing techniques learned into everyday life.
Weekly June 24 to July 29, 2008.

Healing Workshop
Sunday January 21st 3 - 5 pm
During this experiential workshop we will explore ways to bring about healing through breath work and focused awareness.
No previous meditation experience required.

Friday Morning Meditation
Meditation 9:15 - 10:30 am
This weekly meditation class provides guidance and support for the beginner as well as the more experienced meditator.
Meditation practices and spiritual teachings from many traditions will be explored with an emphasis on how they can be applied in everyday life. This class will support you in beginning or deepening a home practice.
Next series Friday August 1, 8, 15 & 22, September 5 & 12.

Friday Morning Retreats
9:00 - 12:30 am
These monthly Summer meditation retreats provide a deep experience of spiritual practice in a small group setting.
Meditation and relaxation techniques from many traditions will be explored and participants will enjoy a taste of the contemplative life and explore how inner knowledge might enhance daily life.

Managing
Stress In High School
6-session small group for teens
High School is a time of high stress! It is easy to slip into
a downward spiral as stress affects academic performance, relationships
and health. This six-session class is a chance to learn about
yourself and gain tools to help cope with stress through high
school and beyond. Meeting in a small group, we meditate, use
relaxation techniques and learn strategies that can be used
in everyday life. Students in past programs have noticed improved
sleep, feeling less anxious, fewer headaches and improved concentration.
Gaining skills helps one feel more in control and able to enjoy
life more fully.

Individual consultations support the process of
